Program Description:
Pasadena Villa is a residential treatment facility for adults and young adults with mental illness, and those with co-occurring issues, including substance abuse, developmental disorders and Aspergers Syndrome. We provide a comprehensive program of education, support and therapy in a dynamic environment supported by many amenities.
Pasadena Villa, located in the “cultural corridor” of Orlando, Florida, is a premier residential treatment facility for adults and young adults with emotional disorders. We also serve those with co-existing issues like substance abuse, developmental disorders and Asperger's Syndrome.
Pasadena Villa provides a comprehensive program of education, support and therapy in a very comfortable and therapeutic environment complemented by many amenities, including:
-High speed broadband internet access in all resident rooms and common areas
-High speed wireless internet access facility-wide
-Color televisions in all resident rooms
-Comfortable leather furniture, piano and reading areas in Great Room
-Comfortable family-style dining
-Resident rooms decorated in non-institutional, high quality furnishings
-Located in close proximity to a variety of healthcare services, The Orlando Museum of Art, The Orlando Science Center, Leu Gardens, “antique row,” shopping, cultural venues, parks, Lake Eola and downtown Orlando.
The highly trained clinical team provides cognitive behavioral therapy within a truly unique Social Integration ModelSM. Our residents engage in traditional individual and group therapies. Social and recreational activities with licensed psychotherapists outside of our facility form our core treatment interventions.
Residential Treatment Services
-Board certified psychiatrists and psychiatric nurses
-24-hour supervised living
-Management and administration of medication
-Daily individual therapeutic interventions
-Individual therapy at least weekly
-Group therapies (Asperger’s group, Coping Skills Group,Expressive Arts Group, Lifeskills Group)
-Family therapy at least weekly
-Social Integration Therapy and Social Skills Groups (conflict resolution, assertiveness skills, friendship skills, celebrating successes, building social support systems, healthy relationships, establishing boundaries, communication skills, active listening skills, non-verbal communication, and understanding social cues)
-Substance abuse counseling and support
-Recreational and activities therapies (rock climbing, canoeing, biking, tennis, golf, volleyball, frisbee golf, batting cages, bowling and YMCA)
Residential Treatment is for clients who:
-Require 24-hour supervised living
-Need assistance with medication management
-Are unable to live independently or semi-independently within the community
-Are willing to enter the program voluntarily
-Are likely to benefit from an intensive program of therapy and support
Community Residential Homes
Pasadena Villa is dedicated to providing opportunities for clients to live as independently as possible within the community and to integrate socially into the world around them. This is why we offer Community Residential Homes in nice neighborhoods in Orlando. Each CRH, licensed by the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration, offers a safe and comfortable home-like environment. Staff provides a host of treatment and support services which are customized to guide each resident to reach his or her highest levels of functioning possible.
