Program Description:
Rogers Memorial is a nonprofit hospital with specialized residential treatment centers that provide sensitive, age-specific intensive psychiatric care for children and teens dealing with broad spectrum of mental health issues. Treatment services are directed by board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrists who are on-site daily. The hospital is one of the few places in the country that offers intensive cognitive behavioral therapy services for children and teens.
Our Mission Statement
We exist to offer exemplary behavioral healthcare services, including treatment, research, education, training and consultation built on our century-long heritage.
We are dedicated to the delivery of quality care using a skilled team approach that respects the dignity of each individual.
Our success is demonstrated in premier quality care, successful outcome, financial integrity, personal and organizational growth, and community well-being.
A Century of Healing. A Future of Hope.
2007 is Rogers Memorial's 100th year as a nonprofit, freestanding mental health hospital. Once a single site in Oconomowoc, we now offer a second hospital in Milwaukee and treatment centers in Brown Deer and Kenosha. Each year Rogers Memorial provides nearly 6,000 children, adolescents, adults and older adults with individualized, evidence-based treatment for mental health concerns and chemical dependency, as well as research and training for healthcare professionals. We look forward to continuing our tradition of healthcare excellence.
The three levels of treatment we provide include:
• Inpatient or acute care
• Partial hospitalization or day treatment
• Specialized residential treatment for:
• Eating disorders
• Chemical dependency
• Obsessive-compulsive disorder
• Child and adolescent mental health concerns
Admissions
In most cases, an initial telephone screening with one of our admissions specialists starts the admitting process. The information you share during this phone call will be reviewed with a physician, who will recommend an appropriate level of care. After the review, admissions staff will contact you and share the physician’s recommendation.
Insurance Coverage
As a courtesy to prospective patients admissions staff will, with your consent, contact your insurance carrier to obtain a quote of insurance benefits. We will share this information with you to help you make an educated decision about your treatment options and what your insurance will cover.
Medicare covers Rogers Memorial Hospital inpatient hospitalization treatment services. Wisconsin Medicaid (for individuals up to age 21 and over age 65) covers inpatient hospitalization and child & adolescent day treatment services.
Rogers Memorial Hospital also participates in a variety of managed care plans. Please note that benefit availability, service providers, and medical necessity criteria vary with each insurance plan.
Referral Sources and Research Information
If Rogers Memorial Hospital is unable to provide treatment services for you, we will assist you in finding resource information and/or offering referrals to other providers.
