Program Description:

The mission of Telos is to create inspiring interpersonal relationships that invite and assist all people to move toward their ultimate potential. We believe the five cornerstones of genuine change are love, family, spiritually, principled-living and insightful choices.



Telos cares for 24 boys in a charming, historic mansion built in 1926. The facility size, décor and architecture combine to intentionally create an atmosphere of warmth and security. We strive to employ qualified and compassionate people. We purposefully keep our staff to student ratios high and our group size small. We are a staff-secure program.

Telos is a principles-based program. While rules, consequences and structure are components of our program, real change occurs in a special therapeutic environment combined with staff’s efforts to model the importance of principled living. As youth invest in our relationship-driven program,  they learn time-tested principles of happiness. By making insightful choices, youth experience the benefits of value-centered living.



Our multidisciplinary treatment team values diversity among therapeutic interventions. In addition to over 20 hours of individual, family, group and recreational therapy per week, Telos offers triathlon training and competition, service projects, family days, community activities and an intensive “principles program.”

Telos provides true individualized treatment, family involvement, staff that live the principles we teach, quality improvement and diagnostic precision. As an owner-operated program, we are committed to reaching our own “telos."
